The top-notch smartphone Motorola Edge 70's arrival in the Indian market has been confirmed by Motorola on the date December 15. A month ago, the phone was made available for the entire globe, and now it is ready to enter the Indian market with a different avatar altogether, new Pantone colors inspired by nature, and a chic smooth surface.
Ultra-Slim Design and Upgraded Battery
The Edge 70 brings an extravagant highlight with its ultra-slim body, which is only 5.9mm thick, thus it earns the title of the thinest smartphone in the segment.
The worldwide version comes with a 4,800mAh battery, but Motorola has announced that the Indian version will offer a bigger 5,000mAh battery. It will allow for 68W rapid wired and 15W wireless charging.
Moreover, the device will offer extensive dust and water resistance with IP68 and IP69 ratings.
Display and Performance (Expected)
Based on the global version, the Motorola Edge 70 is expected to feature a 6.67-inch pOLED display with
1.5K resolution
4500 nits peak brightness
120Hz refresh rate
Motorola has already made the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset under the hood known. Along with a maximum of 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, the device is intended to provide solid mid-premium performance.
Triple 50MP Camera System
The Edge 70 is expected to sport a triple rear camera setup, including:
50MP main camera
50MP ultra-wide camera
A third lens (details awaited)
A 50MP selfie camera is likely to feature on the front. The device is also expected to support 4K video recording and several AI-powered photography enhancements.
While these specifications are based on the global variant and recent leaks, the final Indian model may see minor changes. All eyes are now on the December 15 launch event.
